We were passing through and stopped for one night. The park was 90% full of workers. Nice long concrete pad. Streets within the park were very narrow and lots of broken up concrete and potholes. Most vehicles were parked in the roadways as the pads weren't long enough for both the RV and truck. Office personnel were extremely helpful.
Nice park right across the street from the Gulf of Mexico. Full hookups but no wi-fi. Great shuttle to the casino. The website gave incorrect directions so we had to stop and ask directions along the way. Nice wide spots on concrete with a great view.
This is one of our favorite campgrounds we have ever stayed in. The staff is always extremely friendly. The Wi-Fi works great. We had a spot in the rear of the park with very long concrete pads with a great view. The pool was wonderful. Picnic tables at every site.
This was a great park run by extremely friendly and helpful employees. Great location near all the casinos and golf courses. Wi-Fi was free and worked perfect. Most sites are grass but we stayed on a gravel site near the road as it had a view of the Gulf of Mexico. We will definitely stay here again.
This is a beautiful park with very large sites; however, there are several major problems with it. First, the office employees couldn’t be more unfriendly, unhelpful, or rude if they tried. The blame for everything wrong with the park is placed on the main Morgan office in NY. The heater in the pool is turned off when the temperature gets below 50, even though the daytime temps are in the 80s. This means it takes two days to get warm after turning off. The tiles on the pool are crumbling off; it’s a wonder the health department hasn’t shut it down totally. The second problem with this park is the few fanatic RVers who are dog haters. These people have VERY tacky signs posted on their sites to keep dogs away. These people do not own the land – the park does. They scream at dog owners walking by with their dogs, even though they are just walking. It seems to me these problem RVers should be asked to leave instead of making the other 99.9 percent of the park miserable. Again, management does nothing. Another problem with this park is the location. It’s 20 miles to the nearest grocery store/Wal-Mart/restaurant. The Wi-Fi that we must pay for is very intermittent and the Cable TV is horrendous. We stayed for six months but will not return.
This fairly new park has the cleanest showers and restrooms anywhere in the country! The owner and camp host were both extremely nice and helpful. We didn't like the sand roads or sandy spots. Several spots have concrete, ours did not.
